Organizational Culture Survey

An organization's results are not created in a strategy document, but in everyday decisions and behaviour – in how leaders respond, how people collaborate, how boldly risks are taken and how openly problems are discussed. These patterns are shaped by organizational culture, often invisibly. Organizational culture assessment gives leaders a shared, data-informed starting point for shaping culture deliberately.

The survey maps four culture types, long- and short-term orientation, and shared information space.

The survey is particularly valuable during strategic change, growth, leadership development, restructuring and mergers. It is also useful when results, collaboration or the implementation of change fall short of expectations and leaders need to understand which cultural patterns are holding the organization back.

The methodology was developed in cooperation with researchers from Tallinn University and is based on a validated measurement instrument.

The questionnaire can be completed in Estonian, Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian and English, so every employee can respond in the language they are most comfortable with.

The survey results come in a detailed report and a workshop for leaders, where we jointly map the biggest gaps between the current and desired culture and agree on next steps.

Organizational Culture Survey

  • A clear culture profile with key conclusions
  • Comparisons across relevant units and employee groups
  • A report and a leadership workshop for planning next steps

How is the culture survey different from an engagement or satisfaction survey?

Engagement and satisfaction surveys help explain how employees experience their work and organization. The culture survey focuses on the values and ways of working that shape behaviour and decisions.

Can we add topics that are important to our organization?

Yes. The standard questionnaire can be complemented with organization-specific questions or thematic blocks. An open-comment option can be added on request – it is not part of the standard package, but it provides additional context.

Can results be compared across units or employee groups?

Yes. With a sufficient number of respondents, results can be compared across units, functions, management levels or other relevant groups while protecting employee anonymity.

Do we get recommendations for next steps?

Yes. In the leadership workshop, we translate the results into concrete priorities and next steps.

How is employee anonymity protected?

Results are reported only for groups with a sufficient number of respondents, so individual answers cannot be identified.
